Temp Mail Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Temp Mail account and its associated data, including accounts used in the Temp Mail Android app and at temp-mail.app. You do not need to install the app or sign in to submit a request.

Request account deletion

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address registered to your account, with the subject Temp Mail account deletion.
  2. State that you want to delete your Temp Mail account and its associated data. Include your account email address. Do not send your password, verification codes, or payment card details.
  3. We will verify that you own the account before deleting it and confirm completion by email.

If you no longer have access to your registered email address, email support from an address where we can reach you and identify the account you want deleted. We may need additional information to verify ownership.

Requests are reviewed manually. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days after verifying account ownership. If more time is needed, we will explain why and provide an updated timeframe.

Data covered by account deletion

Deleting your account removes your account profile and login credentials, invalidates active sessions, and deletes the saved mailbox addresses, mailbox labels and settings, received messages, and attachments associated with the account. Deleted accounts and mailboxes cannot be restored.

We may retain limited transaction or invoice records where required for accounting, tax, or other legal obligations, and limited security records where necessary to prevent fraud or abuse. Retained records are kept only for the applicable legal or security purpose. If an exception applies to your request, we will explain which records are retained, why, and for how long in our response.

Subscriptions

Uninstalling the app or deleting a mailbox does not cancel a subscription. If you have a website subscription, you can cancel automatic renewal in your Temp Mail account settings. You can also ask support to help with cancellation as part of your deletion request, including if you cannot sign in.

Request deletion of specific data

You may request deletion of specific mailbox or message data without deleting your entire account. Email [email protected] and clearly describe what you want deleted. Ownership verification and the processing timeframe above also apply.
